Do y'all have a traditional Sunday worship service? And if so where is it at because I dont see any Salvation Army church buildings, just homeless shelters and warehouse/headquarters that houses all the supplies.
Dont get me wrong, I think y'all are great and for the longest I thought y'all were a charity organization and not a denomination so when the average Salvation Army faithful wants to go to church services, where do you have them?
Hi Shelb.
Welcome to CyberCorps

Good to see you over here.
Yep, we do have a Sunday Worship Service, and in many cases, two.
Most Corps (as our churches are called) have a Sunday morning service, although many of thge larger Corps have a Sunday evening service as well.
The Sunday morning service tends to be more family orientated, and often runs hand in hand with the Sunday school.
It is often harder to come accross Salvation Army churches than it is to find our social services centre's, simply because the social services buildings tend to be bigger.
However, if you were to enquire at one of these centres or phone them, they would be happy to give yu the information.
I suspect that you would find the service very different from a Catholic Mass, for example we do not use the Eucharist as part of our worship.
However, if you happen to be free at the time one of our services, why not pop along.
I have learned a great deal about the Catholic Mass from my time in OBOB. I would be interested in your impressions of our worship.
