'Rediscovering Catholicism' by Matthew Kelly.

It's been an interesting read so far.

It's a little slow to get to the point but it encompasses a lot and I have been seeing myself in the footsteps of the author in relation to our desire to be authentic Christians. That's exactly what I want.

Don't call me crazy, but whenever I attend a Protestant church, I feel like something is missing. The Holy Spirit in me senses that nothing is wrong per se, but that it's missing the true depth of the fullest and most intimate connection with Christ.

Yes, exactly. When I attend conservative Baptist churches with my husband, I appreciate the kindness, fellowship, preaching, Bible reading, the fact that the pastor is a man, and prayers, it's all great, but something definitely is missing. I think it's probably Christ in the Eucharist, the fullness of Truth, and the Catholicity and Apostolicity of the Church.

Yes, exactly. The Real Presence is something I only accepted recently. I've accepted fully, today, the intercession of the Saints. I personally believe in the Sacraments, also.
