Trump and the GOP leadership have lied for months about voting machine companies conspiring with foreign governments to deprive Trump of his "landslide victory". They engaged themselves in a malicious and systematic undermining of our democracy, resulting in *mob violence*. Now however they don't seem to like the public fallout of their immoral actions.</p><p></p><p>Evidently Fox news and the GOP leadership wish to avoid the inevitable fallout of their actions. They whine about Trump being banned from various social media outlets, despite the fact that he's been blatantly violating their rules for *years*, spreading absurd conspiracy theories and blatantly trying to use such platforms to incite violence and overthrow our Republic.</p><p></p><p>Please! Trump and his co-conspirators in the House and Senate are getting *exactly* what they deserve. They aren't being 'cancelled', they're simply experiencing the inevitable public fallout for inciting violence, lying repeatedly to the public, and breaking the rules of various public platforms. The proprietors of online platforms have every right, and they have a public duty to moderate the content of their platforms.</p><p></p><p>CF has posted "rules" too, and if those rules are violated, there are in fact "consequences". That's not "cancel culture", that's just life.</p><p></p><p>The GOP's new "cancel culture victim" routine is both hypocritical and pathetic IMO.</p></blockquote><p></p>
