I understand the frustration, but please know that the differences we have illuminated here are of eternal significance. Two contradictory, mutually exclusive ideas cannot both be true at the same time.

It is my hope that this room truly becomes a fellowship room for Baptists, as designed.

I purposely do not enter OBOB because I do not seek strife. I come here for fellowship and "iron sharpeneth iron" discussions. Please understand that a healthy number of us are ex-RCs and it is not easy for us to see our faith attacked in our own room...

I think things are currently under control. Please stay for the Baptist fellowship... if a topic looks like trouble to you... just don't enter that discussion

You cannot ask a question from to very different-believing faiths, and then expect their answers to agree. Because someone is debating a topic by presenting their point of view, doesn't mean they are arguing.

You're in high school -- go to a Speech & Debate Tournament. Both sides will present their case, and often get very "flared up" when giving a defense/response to the opposing point of view. The stronger they really believe it, the more so they will.

We'll certainly miss you... I guess I'm not sure what exactly you planned on getting out of CF if it wasn't discussing that might actually include disagreements! If you put thousands of people into a room, you're going to get thousands of different viewpoints.

I am so sorry to see you go! I am also sick and tired of the debating between the Baptist and Catholics on this forum. I didn't even know that Catholics and Baptist were so at odds with each other until reading the threads on this part of the forum. I know little about the Catholic forms of worship but the Catholics in my personal life are warm and loving people and we have never argued about a thing. They celebrate in my joys and they mourn in my sorrows with me, just like my Baptist loved ones do. We have wonderful conversations about Jesus and His love for us and according to them, they view me as a sister in Christ and a Christian. Perhaps I don't get out enough but this constant debating between Baptist and Catholics on this part of the forum is beyond me and totally blows my mind.

I dont think i'll go...yes i got my feelings hurt, but thats to be expected with me i guess...its one of my many flaws. i think i'll just stay out of the OBOB for a while...but ive had all day to think, and ive talked to some ppl, and i dont want to leave...id miss you guys too much! Oh. I didn't realize that you gave me all these blessings. I started blessing others with KJV Bibles thanks to you!!! I'm going to send the blessings back to you. You deserve them. You got down in the trenches and thought about giving up but decided to keep blessing us with your fellowship! You deserve more blessings than I have but you get what I got
