Goodbye-bye

well everyone I'm off!
I've been praying long and hard and I've decided to return to the Orthodox Church.
Old Catholicism and Anglicanism have treated me well and I do not leave with any regrets about my time in either one or my time on STR.

but at end of the day you can take the boy out of the Eastern Church but you cannot take the Eastern Church of the boy. I now know where I belong.
despite some of the issues such as I have with my church (such as WO) I can no longer keep myself separated from it.

to that end I've been 'taken back' by my old and now new church

I will prob lurk around on both here and Orthodox section but I will be no longer defining myself as an Old Catholic.

Many thanks to those who were nice, and too those who wen't so nice well God's Blessings all the same.

no one is more surprised that I am!!! never thought Id miss it but I do. and I have found a very sympathetic spiritual father who is also a trained psychologist and does not consider the 'elephant issue' enuff to warrant me feeling isolated from the church and has offered me his spiritual care. as well as introducing me to other 'elephants' ...Im starting to relaise that the teachings which I dislike so much differ very much for the actual pastoral care that individual priests can offer.

beyond the issues I've have had what I can only define as a 'mystical experience' where I just felt the love of God so strongly and had an instant message saying "come home" ....so I need to go home
