Body Care Routine

For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, because we are members of his body. —Ephesians 5:29-30

Just wanted to share some routines and ways I practice self care. I also wanted to address insecurities and some ways that I have cultivated confidence.

How to Be Happy Without Spending Money

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. —Philippians 4:19

Today's video is about the time I spent without spending any money. A broad lawn instead of amusement park, peaceful home cafe, delicious homemade meal, unexpected encounter with the season, cleaning the fridge, and reminiscing about the past. And the neighborhood library. If you look into it, you will make happy moments quite easily. We can definitely feel deep happiness in a small things.

How to Make Ginger Beer the Victorian Way

Mrs Crocombe's recipe for Ginger Beer was copied from The Field newspaper, a field sports magazine first published in 1853 and still going today. Made by soaking ginger, lemon, bread and yeast in water, this Victorian ginger beer is a little insipid for modern tastes and far from the sweet varieties we enjoy in tin cans today.

But with the addition of a sweetener such as honey or a dash of sweet whisky, this is a beautifully light and refreshing summer drink.

Simple Cleaning Tips

Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. —Psalm 143:8

Keep the natural detergent made of lemon soju in the refrigerator and make sure to use it for cleaning kitchen. Kitchen tools and appliances such as pot, frying pan, stove etc. better be managed right after use to prevent old set stains.

Baking soda + Vinegar = Good for removing water stain.
Baking soda + Vinegar + Kitchen detergent = An all around detergent that removes oil stain.
Vinegar + Soju = A multipurpose cleaner for kitchen, fridge, oven, microwave etc.

Clean the house here and there. Spray it on stains and wipe out with dry cloth or kitchen towel.
