I used the lyrics to this song once to help my therapist better understand how I feel about the cutting, like nothing else communicates the intensity of my emotions or my pain.

Hero was the first song I'd heard that dealt with cutting and I cried. I was soooo blessed that someone else was acknowledging my struggles and that helped me to trust that God would free me someday. I need to look up those other lyrics, thank y'all for sharing them with us!
