The great thing about the Gospel accounts - is that this shows us what Christ was teaching.
In Matthew 28 the disciples were told to go out to the world and teach others "all the things that I taught you" . So then the Gospel letters were designed to do exactly that - as they were written years after Christ had been raised from the dead and were intended to tell others about the life and teaching of Christ.
A few Christians in this world might think that the Gospels are "not for Christians" but in fact they are for the entire world.
What a blessing they are.
