about the lyrics themselves though i think they are so true. i know in my life i strive after what the world has to offer then i get it and I find out I have been deceived all a long. if only I could only long for what God has for m be cause He knows exactly what I need and won't give me a stone instead of my daily bread.

Yeah, the lyrics for that song are amazing. Probbably my favorite song they do.

Also, as christians we should want to saved and fellowship with people but we only need God. I'm not sure if they wanted to put that spin on the main line of the song, but I took it that way also....deep stuff..I love it!

I was thinking about this lyric thread today driving into work, and there have been some really powerful lyrics in some of the contatas I've done with my church choir. A lot of times, the lyrics are directly based on Bible verses.

We sung that acapella (without accompanyment) and it was just so haunting and gave me chills. I wish you could all hear the tape.
