Good Clapping Songs?

Hi,
I lead worship for a church, sometimes I hit a wall when I try to come up with a good upbeat clapping song to sing for service.

Being a meloncholly musician, I am drawn to a more balladesque type of music, so some of the clapping songs don't fit my particular taste, but that is not going to keep me from playing some really good ones. I am just curious which songs y'all like to use.

There are so many! But one of my favorites is "We Wanna See Jesus Lifted High." But not only can you clap with the verses, but the chorus has a built in clap:

"We wanna see" (clap clap clap)

well at my church we use songs from hillsong church. if you bye a copy of their cd you'll be able to find clapping songs and ones you can jump with like One Way or All Day.

Oooooooh - clapping songs are fabulous!
If you're looking for ones that you clap along to on the off beat.... then there are loads of HillSong ones and Matt Redman ones that you can choose from:

"My Redeemer Lives" Hillsong is a fab one! there are a few songs with the same title - the first words to this are - "I know he's rescued my soul, his blood has covered my sin"

"Shine Jesus Shine" Graham Kendrick - has a clappy bit.... "Shine on me" (clap clap clap clap) "Shine on me" (clap clap clap clap)

The song that our praise band plays that gets the most claps is Saved by Third Day. Easy song to play for everyone except the keyboard/piano player.

bleh, you can clap to any song. Don't force anyone to clap because usually it's God's doing.

one of oue favorite fast songs is call "My Best Friend" it goes like

I think one of my favorite worship songs is from Hillsongs (I think) its called "King of Majesty," It is very upbeat and it goes like this

why would you ask that?

Because I have never heard of a clapping song. Normally when I look for songs to play during worship, I don't look for "clapping song" or slow songs... I look at the words more than the tempo.

"Be Thou My Vision", when done celtic style with the drum beat has an excellent clapping rhythm... I love it. We use it as the final song in the Mission Celebration Mass, and it is excellent for worshipping to.

it goes like this:
