  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Say...isn't Charlotte the name of the ship in the movie National Treasure? Man, that was a good movie...

Anyway, here's how I see it: Good Charlotte's first record was quite good, IMO. Each record since has gotten cr@ppier.

But don't worry. Such is the case with most mainstream bands...

as goes for most pop-punk.

what gets on my nerves are the kids (namely teenage girls) who are like "GC saved my life with their "hang on" song! I love them!"
Sheesh, you're not suicidal if a song can change your mind. Most people who are have gone through so much to make them suicidal that a mere song or word isn't going to turn them around, in most cases....
Anyway, i'm getting off topic, as for those teens mentioned above, they can like what they want, whatever.

:amen:

Anyway, I'd say 50/50. I have their first CD, think most of it sucks, and now I only listen to the occasional radio single they put out. I think they actually do better when they put more new wave into their music, but that's just me.

Which brings up another kind-of related topic: what is with the fascination pop-punk bands have with new wave?
