I used to be a big fan of all of the bands you have listed (except "Never Pass Entry" - I've never heard of them). For several months after I re-dedicated my life to Jesus, I continued listening to them as well. I did start to notice that the Holy Spirit wasn't letting me remain confortable while listening to them. Several of the bands have songs that are pretty blatantly against anything that we as christians are for. Listen to the chorus of Man in the Box. It is talking about denying Jesus as your Maker. I got to a point where I couldn't continue listening to that kind of music any more, and was pretty bummed out. Then I went into a Christian bookstore and checked out the stuff they called rock and heavy metal. I found that there was good music written and performed by people who loved the Lord like I did. I own over 200 cd's now and none are secular. The bands you listed above do indeed have good music, it is the lyrics that that I think are offensive. here are some URL's for bands you may want o check out based on the ones you listed above:

Apologetix has gotten some songs by Nirvana (like smells like teen spirit) and made them christian (to smells like thirtysomething spirit). they're good and sometimes funny.
