Going to school again is this a good idea?

I'm 36 and I will like to get a masters degree, is this advisable or just a waste of time as I feel quite old for this
Part of you wants the masters and part of you thinks it's a waste of time. One part of you will get its way.

My son is 32 and going back for his masters degree....so no, you're not too old. Many folks in their 30s, 40s, and even 50s go back to school for their masters.

No, you're not too old. Not at all. The question is whether or not it will get you a better job, advancement, more income, prestige, or anything of that sort. If it's something in that vein, which area of specialization it is that you have in mind would make all the difference. But if you want to earn the degree for personal satisfaction, there's no reason to hesitate.

I started my undergraduate degree at the age of 33. I found that it was a great experience because as a mature student I was treated a lot better than a mere school leaver. I think that the faculty's attitude toward "mature" students is that they are more dedicated and therefore worth spending more time assisting them. I was in my early 40s when I completed my MA. These were great journeys and I made friends with my tutors and they were always available to answer my questions. I started a three year MDiv at the age of 64, and finished it at the age of 67. That was a great journey as well and I was pleasantly surprised at my 95% point average for my essays and research paper. This shows me that one is never too old to do a university degree, and I say, "Go for it!"

I'm in that age range and currently working on my masters. I'm getting it because I need it to advance in my career. Why do you want your masters?
I'm a business owner and I think getting a masters in business management will help me be more professional and manage my business more also I'm thinking of relocating and I intend to set up a small business in my new country but I don't know if this is necessary or if things will just fall into place for me

You might also consider short courses on business-relevant subjects. A lot of those can be taken online.

Doing an on-campus course is not compatible with your plans to move.

I was thinking computer science because that's a picture of Ada on your profile isn't it?

Anyway... I could think of worse ways to "waste time. "

Not really. There are plenty of people in the Bible with titles.

In the Bible, 2 people speak: God and people.

Job's friends spoke the wrong thing in the bible, does that mean they said the "RIGHT THING"??? No, God said they were wrong.

Titles are wrong. Even though lot's of people had them in the bible. David committed adultery, does that mean he's right?

What about a "MASTER$" in biology? Who do you go with? Evolution or the bible?

Matthew 23:
But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.
And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.
But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

Rubbish.

We have Christians in the Bible called Apostle (1 Corinthians 1:1 etc.), Deacon (1 Timothy 3:1-7 etc.), Pastor (Ephesians 4:11 etc.), Physician (Colossians 4:14), and so forth. Titles are perfectly Biblical.

Utter Rubbish.

Physician? They were really a PHYSICIAN. They were REALLY an Apostle, Deacon, Pastor (God given jobs with strict requirements, it is a JOB). There is a difference between a JOB and a TITLE. Physician = JOB, not a title. He was known by his Job.

If you ask a man today, what are you? They will reply with their job. A carpenter, a painter etc. There is no TITLE. NOBODY says I'm a PHD. NOBODY says I'm a Master.

What are you the MASTER of??? A paper certificate. Not a job, a paper certificate.

As the name indicates, most Masters degrees represent the completion of high-level training in specific jobs. A Master of Engineering is an engineer, for example. A Master of Psychology is a psychologist. A Master of Accountancy is an accountant. A Master of Architecture is an architect.

Similarly, Luke would have had professional training to earn the title of "physician."

We don't need assumptions. Can you quote the chapter and verse where Luke got his "PHYSICIANS" MASTER$/PHD$ degree from?

Physicians of THAT day were most likely herbal INSTEAD OF THE PRESCRIBER PARROT PHYSICIANS TODAY of injectors of fluoride (toothpaste warning), mercury, formaldehyde, aluminum (causal factor of Alzheimers), aborted fetus cells (What Aborted Fetuses Have to Do With Vaccines).

Luke would have trained at one of the medical schools that had already existed for centuries by his day.

Fluoride stops tooth decay.

Are you referring to vaccines? Most contain no mercury; a few contain a tiny (safe) amount.

formaldehyde

Tiny quantities of formaldehyde naturally exist in human blood.

aluminum (causal factor of Alzheimers)

Nonsense. Aluminium is widely used in antacids. Multiple studies show that it doesn't cause Alzheimer's.
