• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

I am so blessed, thank you Jesus! If you read my testimonial on this blog, you know that I have been going through a pretty rough time the last two and a half years or so. I almost died several times waiting for a new liver. The Lord blessed me with a new liver last October 2008 and I have been healing very well with no signs of rejection. I was released back to work by the fantastically gifted medical team at Baylor College of Medicine, Liver Center, in Houston, Texas in January 2009. I start back to work at my old job on Monday, March 16th, 2009.

This is good news, congratulations. God provides at the right moments when we think there is no hope He becomes our hope. When we think of death, He becomes our resurrection. Only remember the person that gave you the liver and their family, their loss is your gain. Keep them in your prayers whenever you can that God may guide them throughout the way to His kingdom and that they may know Him teh true God.

I'm very happy for you. I once was waiting for a cure for a liver disease I had and I was so afraid I was going to die of cirrohsis. Anyway I was cured when the cure came out. Enough of me. I'm very glad you got your new liver! YaY!!
