daily commitment and prayer. daily commitment and building upon God's word is what carries us.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

We are made right with God when we believe that Jesus shed His blood, sacrificing His life for us. Romans 3:25

A Deeper Look:
Getting right with God starts with admitting you can do nothing to save yourself. You need Jesus to make you clean.

Isaiah 27:1-5....
1 In that day the LORD with his great and strong sword shall punish leviathan that piercing serpent; leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
2 In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine!
3 I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.
4 Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.
5 Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.

If we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us. 1 John 1:9

it doesn't say if we conquer our sins we'll be forgiven.

it means to lay out your sins to confess they are your sins and you want and need His help.

forgiveness comes to those searching and trying for God's will. even while we struggle with sin. God searches our hearts and knows if we confessed in vein or if we are really searching for His will. i plead with my Savior to rescue me and i search for ways to avoid being out of His will. this is evidence of my verbal confession. but i struggled with wanting to lay out my sins in confession before. i had to confess that too. i keep having to inventory myself because i have learned that i cannot be trusted to remain faithful. i confess this too. i want God's will to drown mine. i want to die to myself. i want spiritual righteousness and healling. i want God's presence to be a joy, not my shameful things. i want to enter His gates with thanksgiving and praise!

A Deeper Look:
Feeling overwhelmed today? Are you hesitating to bring it to God? Remember that He always accepts you, and He wants you to come to Him with your problems, no matter what they are. He loves you!
