One example of the Lord's displeasure with this sin is written in Numbers 25:1-10. He destroyed 24,000 for fornication and idolatry.

If you struggle with fornication, plead to the Most High in Jesus name to cleanse you. He can and will do it. Do not give in to the will of flesh but rather walk in the Spirit. Do not as the world, pursue holiness, godliness and be ye perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect. Blessings.

There is a subtle form of fornication which is often overlooked. Fornication in your heart. Some people don't do it physically but in their hearts, their thoughts are just as bad.

And the very next verse is a dire warning about rejecting this instruction: 8 Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit (1 Thessalonians 4:8). Sexual sins are somethings many of us struggle with but God has absolutely no tolerance for this. Not to mention that the fact that it can very easily also be done in the heart via lust, Matthew 5:28, as well.
