• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

When an injustice happens God righteously gets angry.

So, if the injustice is someone's mental state of mind leading them to commiting suicide, and a sucessful one - what is God's thoughts/emotions for the person and the effected people?

i feel v confused, and down. and dont want to be, really.

God is merciful more than we know.
Absolutely! It is not ours to judge what happens to the soul of a person who commits suicide. When my wife took her life, her mother (who had been raised in old conservative churches) immediately said to me, "But she won't see Jesus!" And I had to assure her that her daughter loved the Lord but did not love the world or us enough to stay. Yes, she killed herself, but she didn't "murder" herself. She just escaped the best way she knew how in her deep state of depression and confusion. I personally believe that God will not fault her for that, but in the end I truly trust that our infinitely loving God will choose to love my wife the way she showed His love in her life and work: fully and unconditionally.

Trust God on this one.
