This thread arises out of the other one on this forum dealing with Predestination.

Here's a question for anyone with a Reformed or Calvinist (I use the terms in their loosest sense) doctrinal framework, although its quite open to comments from anyone.

If it was God sovereign decree to give man free will and to predestine and draw all those to Himself who would truly love Him of their own free will, how would this affect your understanding of God's sovereignty in relation to salvation?

love in Christ,

Malcolm

Thanks EJO, but the reason I responded that way was because this question is spawned from a debate that LFJ and I were have in the aforementioned thread.  Therefore, if he'd rather I refrain from replying due to the fact that he already knows what I feel on the subject I thought I'd clarify ahead of time so as to not complicate the thread.  Good enough answer for ya EJO? ;)

What if I believe both camps?
Does that make me Recalled? :D

LOL! :D

Well, I'll tell you what.  You explain to me how man can be the master of his own destiny and at the same time God can be sovereign and we'll go from there.

Okay?

God bless
