God's Problem

The idea has been rolling around in my head that God has a problem when it comes to people! The problem is that God only can offer total and complete salvation.. He can't do it halfway, He can't even do it most of the way, so if you are only going halfway or most of the way He simply cannot offer you what He needs you to have. 1 john 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. We can't fool ourselves all darkness must be eliminated from our lives by the power of God, this is the gift we recieve by faith... but it will lead to perfect conformity to the will of God. We absolutely cannot even in the smallest way mess with the works of darkness, perfect obedience needs to be worked out in us. God is Light and there is NO darkness in Him if He is to dwell in us He cannot tolerate any darkness and if He is there darkness has to go. The presence of God in us is going to be very destructive to all the worldliness that our carnal natures want to cling to and this might seem very difficult while it is being purged from us. Don't let the stupendous height of a state like that despair you though, God knows our natural self and that we are completely weak and unable to bring this about by our works. God will do it for us but if we do not completely surrender and let God do this in us, if we hold back a little bit He cannot purge this darkness from us and then we would be unable to ultimately be with God. There is from a lot of christians what I think a deluded mindset that somehow we can be a little bit worldly (sometimes a lot) and God is ok with this. If you mix Hot with Cold you get lukewarm. What God want's to do in your life will blow your mind, you must give God your best, you must be willing to be made willing, seek first the kingdom and do not hold back, not even a little bit no matter what the cost!!!!!
