Small problems arising in front of you?
Deal with it and move on.

It's short but it sure taught me something very critical. Same thing Jesus taught his diciples. Telling them about teaching people, if those people insult them, hate them etc, 'brush off the dust and move on'. Sure shows how Jesus deals with stuff. Makes alot of sense too.

No point having small things crawling around in our heads for weeks. Just deal with it and move on.

As long as we try to contend with the non's those who are sincere in search for The Truth are dying of spiritual starvation. I've given up participating in a couple of non-christian hiq forums because I came to the conclusion that they are really only there to bag Christianity and all it means to believe in God, rather than aforesaid searching for the Answer.

Amen! Too many Christians are caught up in senseless debates over what are so many times ridiculous issues that only serve to keep us out of His Word and in doing His will. Jesus never intended us to "debate" His Word. That is for those who do not know Him and have a completely different agenda.

No one will ever be saved by debate We are saved by Grace through Faith by the Power of the Holy Spirit. If the Holy Spirit is not working in a heart, no amount of debate will accomplish a change in that heart.

I guess Gerry, that without the Holy Spirit, the Life-Imparter, men are like inert matter, spiritually. You cannot expect a piece of rock to spontaneously come alive, so that's how futile would be our own efforts to 'convert' those outside the Kingdom, whose hearts are but 'stone'. [We were all in that camp once, of course] but God breathed into us and we became living souls in Christ.

I have found, and I may be the odd one out here, that sometimes it is those small things that have caused me the most pain. Sometimes it has been hard to let go and let God.

I am beginning to realise more and more that is only through God's grace that I can move on. This spiritual warfare is no joke.

Blessings for this one sharky

Amen to that!

I think that the small things may be harder because it is so easy to see that the big stuff is a problem. Little stuff often goes unnoticed. After all, we normally don't see a crumb drop on own shirt, but if we drop the whole sandwhich on the other hand

Life is like that sometimes I think... a "little" sin or little problem is hard to notice, but there nonetheless. The "big" sins and problems are completely apparent. Have a great day!

Amen! so true Gerry, I believe he made his word so simple. I was praying not to long ago and could not stop thinking about all things I do, problems and he said so softly live by Grace. I know what it means but still have a hard time understanding it. One little word yet so deep..
