A great cast and I think better than the first installment in the God's Not Dead series. God's Not Dead was the highest grossing independent film when it released in 2014 .
There are a lot of characters that are played by well known people as themselves.
Mike Huckabee, of course The Newsboys, Author Lee Strobel, who wrote, The Case For Christ, and other titles. A former atheist, investigative reporter who found his way to God by researching the history of Yeshua bar Joseph.
Author Jim Warner Wallace, his book Cold Case Christianity is mentioned in the movie. The "Extras" include an extensive deleted scene with Mr. Wallace. One that really puts into perspective his cold case detective background.And that expertise put to work in his pursuit as an unbeliever at the outset of evidence to prove the gospels are a true testimony.
How he arrived at that proof is great. I can see why it was cut because it would bore you if you had no interest in the details of his investigation techniques.
It's a great movie in my view. It brings together at least a couple of the contemporary soft persecution cases that have made news in America of late.
And then wraps them all up in proof that we have not only a right to our faith. But a real historic reason supporting it. Which means if someone asks a question in history class, in what should be called, Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. High School, you can answer them. When that student asked to compare Jesus , Martin, and Mahatma's teachings.

I think it also gives great information to students in public schools today.I got my copy from the library because Red Box never has it in here.
