God's many plans for the Gay community???????

I am pretty sure it is over five years since I read the NDE of Mr. Christian Andreason. His NDE account has had a major impact on my life.

As a former follower of Mr. Garner Ted Armstrong and his dad Mr. Herbert Armstong I must admit that these statements put me into some serious cognitive dissonance at first!!!!??

What about sexually diverse people?

If this world was to ever find out just a small amount of what sexually diverse (gay) people are here to do on this planet, there would never be one single wisecrack or hurtful remark made ever again. Instead there would be great respect! People who speak disrespectful things about people of this orientation ... enact judgment, and do so from a place of unenlightenment, insecurity, ego and socially induced prejudice. Some may use mistranslated scriptures taught to them, not by the Holy Spirit ... but by fear-filled human beings. Many will choose to sustain a Divinely unsupported satanic hate-based rage against these children of God, rather than using Love to bring understanding and healing between both peoples. Christ said, THE GREATEST COMMANDMENT IS THAT WE ARE TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER! When people sling condemnation, judgment and bitterness at others, they are not practicing the great commandment. They are allowing their Souls to fall into darkness.

Five or six years later on and finally I feel confident enough to go into specifics as to what I strongly suspect are a few of the actual plans that the God of Abraham, the Creator of heaven and earth has in mind for the Gay community!!!!

I would assume that God's plan would be the same for all sinners... for us all to repent of our sins and accept Christ as our Savior. I don't recall Christ instructing anyone to make flags representing their sin and march in parades and try to encourage everyone to accept that their sin should be accepted as good.

When I first got into researching NDE accounts in 1990 I sort of wanted to disprove their validity because I had been a firm believer in "soul sleep," so reading evidence that the human spirit/soul is still conscious minutes and hours and days after our death.......put me on a path that led to me getting excommunicated from two churches in less than a month??!!!

But.....I could not rule out their validity easily because they sure did seem to fit with:

2 Corinthians 12 (Blue Letter Bible: KJV - King James Version)

2Corinthians 12:2 "I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth

How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter."

I'm going to vote "no" since Argentina, Iceland, Sweden, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Portugal, Norway, Spain, South Africa, the Netherlands, Connecticut, Washington DC, Iowa, Massachusetts, Maine, Maryland, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Washington have all legalized same sex marriage and still exist. That is, god hasn't firebombed those places into a burning wasteland.

Good point abysmul!

But another aspect of what God wants to do with and through the Gay community is to inspire them to become leaders in the movement to turn food into a delivery system for trace minerals and nutritional sugars so that the human immune system is optimized which would transform the golden years for all seven billion of us!!!!????

I strongly suspect that God has plans to use the Gay community to spearhead the movement to use food to make the vast majority of expensive drugs unnecessary???!!!

My daughter in law's mom is from the province of Loja, Ecuador so I have something resembling insider information regarding the accuracy of the theories about why people in the village of Vilcabamba seem to have such excellent health even at advanced ages???!!!

Now perhaps this is an example of some remaining reverse bias in my own thought process but I personally have high hopes that Gay Christians will lead the world into an age where the media is used effectively to transform lives and decrease the burden on the social safety net in most developed nations????!!!

Christian artistic writings, novels, plays, film concepts!

Some of us would be more than willing to volunteer our time and ideas to attempt to address specific problems through ideas for documentary, reality, semi-reality or purely fictional film projects!

For example I think that it would be wonderful for a church or better yet a group of churches and synagogues in a major city to get together and print up a local currency similar to CalgaryDollars.ca or the Ithaca Hour!

Homeless people, people on social assistance, people who have been victims of the sex industry who want to break out of their situation could theoretically become actors, playing the role of themselves or a fictional person like themselves or somebody they know, and the films could give the people a way to raise funds to address their problem, but also encourage others in a similar situation?!

Good point abysmul, I have to admit that I am egotistical, argumentative, cranky, stubborn, prideful and pedantic???!!!! (It is pretty much a given that people who use words like pedantic....might just have at least a little bit of this evil still lurking in their hearts)!!!!!???

I regard that my pride and egoism and self-righteousness is just as serious a sin as for a woman or man to decide to sell their body on the street in order to survive???!!!!

I have prayed and prayed and prayed to be assisted with this sin....and I do feel that I am not quite as complete a mess as I was back in 1988 before I began to study NDE accounts????!!!

I admit it...if I loved God more I would certainly watch a lot fewer movies on satellite dish!!!!

I also admit that I kind of got to the place where I find that church people aren't exactly my favourite type of people to be with????!!!!

I have to admit that I saw in the Worldwide Church of God that if pastors salary was sufficiently high they would tend to obey directives from headquarters in Pasadena to excommunicate people who caused division in the church by bringing up subjects such as near death experiences and how these accounts strongly indicated that our "soul sleep" doctrine should be looked at again????!!!! I also have to admit that if I had a high salary and was not merely a janitor in a school I probably would be unlikely to be so free to be so argumentative both on discussion boards as well as on the walls of political candidates????!!!!

I suspect that from the perspective of God my tendency toward obsequiousness may be just as serious a sin as well........you can guess can't you????!!!

This is not an easy topic for us but it is amazing what can happen in less than a one year period of time. Before joining Canada's Liberal Party I was a member of the Christian Heritage Party for several months. Here is the exact discussion thread in which I brought up the idea of the Gay community being turned into powerful allies in the pro-life movement by encouraging Gay couples to adopt......as you can guess this idea went over like a lead balloon so I realized that I was a Christian who would fit in better in with the Liberal Party...so I resigned as a member of the CHP!

I may be wrong, but I am of the belief that one of the most effective methods that I personally can set in motion that will result in lives being saved is if I will encourage gay couples to adopt. Perhaps I am wrong about this because I have often been wrong in the past but this is where I am at on this question as of this moment.

I eventually came to the conclusion that the overall mentality in Canada's Christian Heritage Party is not in line with where I perceive Jesus/Yahushua is at on the issue of homosexuality.

About a month ago I saw an episode of Intervention where a gay man was struggling with his addiction to alcohol. I personally would prefer that gay couples not use the term marriage to describe their union but whatever they decide to call their relationship, I personally feel that their lives can be transformed if they are actively encouraged to make plans to adopt a child as soon as they feel that they have their house in order.

I perceive that essentially every child that is adopted will soon directly result in one less abortion being performed!

Chances are many of those people you describe aren't Christian to begin with and thus have no concept of "sin", how it fits into the morality of the Abrahamic god.

For example, I don't see anything wrong with gay marriage and I find gays to be just as much people deserving of respect as anyone else.

That was me actually referring to self proclaimed Christians not to people outside the church. Sorry if that was unclear!

I don't know about that. Mathew 7:3 talks about worrying about your own sins instead of concentrating on the sins of others.

As a Christian, I'd say God's plans for the gay community is the same as His plans for the straight community.

God doesn't deal with "gay people", or "straight people", or "black people", or "white people", or "strong people", or "weak people", or "quiet people", or "loud people", or "shy people". God deals with people. Period. The Gospel I'd preach to a straight Christian man is the same Gospel I'd preach to a gay Buddhist woman. The Gospel is the Gospel. God's love is universally spread out toward all. The God who loves you is the God who loves me, and He's the God who loves everyone. Christ didn't die for smart people, or dumb people, or gay people, or straight people, or tall people, or short people. Christ died for all people. For people. Period. As such His Gospel is for everyone, believing and unbelieving, gay and straight, rich and poor, tall and short.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm praying they acknowledge they are sinners like every other person on the planet (including obviously us) and turn to Jesus for salvation.
