God's love?

What is it? I feel like I have lost my grasp on what love is. Without it I might as well be dead, hence my struggles. I know I can only find the love I seek from God, and I know I need it. But I am really struggling, if not rebelling against seeking something I don't know.

I wanted to post here because the deeper fellowship is what I live for. Without it I feel dead, It's His love that makes that deep fellowship right? I just want more if Him.

Maybe you should start a prayer thread about this? Prayer is very powerfull....

I was feeling the same the other day, but I devoted my day to the Lord, Gospel muisc, praise music read the Bible and prayed a lot I felt much better, I think there were a lot of unimportant things getting in the way, so I abstained from them as best I could.

I agree. Devote your time to the Lord and getting closer to Him. There may be something in between you and God. I am not saying there is but maybe some unrepented sins. There are sometimes that I feel farther away from the Lord and its because sin is between us. Prayer, worship time devoted, are all ways to get closer to Him and feel that warmth and love again.

The best definition I can think of is it is described in 1 Corinthians 13. The world does not know this definition of love and has made it something selfish. God's love is never selfish and always gives of itself.

Think on these things: whatever is true whatever is of good report etc. Act on these things: in gentleness, kindness, the fruits of the Spirit, against these there are no laws. If I can do those things then I'm abiding in Love
