Godliness With Contentment

[Pilgrim]

Heavenly Father, Thank You for the unmerited grace, mercy, and blessings that God bestows upon us. Protect us from the many foolish worldly desires that would plunge us into destruction. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out. But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these. Let us store up our treasures in heaven. In the power of the Holy Spirit, God's will be done, for ever and again. In Jesus' name. Amen.

A daily prayer that we would have "great gain by godliness with contentment in our unchangeable circumstances." (1 Timothy 6:6)
