ok, I've got this question. First here are truths that I think are true according to the Bible and what I have heard.
-God is fair.
-God knows all.
-You must accept Jesus as the son of God to go to heaven
-You must belive in God.

ok, if these are true, then isn't this unfair to Muslims, Jews and all other religions, because when their born and they grow up in their culture, they learn about their religion. And they belive in it as adimently as Christians belive Christianity, because they are told by their teachers. So that would mean that these people do not belive in God or Jesus as the son of God. So that would mean that they would automatically go to hell. Since God knows all, wouldn't he know this and that these people adamently belive in their religion and would never convert to Christianity? Yet God is fair, so how is this fair? And if people say its becuase of the sins of there parent, that is not fair either, because they did not effect the actions of their forefathers. Could you please e-mail your anwser.

Thanks, Andrew B.

The Bible is silent about what happens to people who are hopelessly deceived by other religions, except that it says any person who wants to know the Lord can get to know him by looking at the works of his creation. So even though there are not Bibles, churches or missionaries everywhere, there is evidence about God in nature for all to see.

I've never understood the use of the phrase "accept Jesus." I can't find this phrase any where in my Bible, and it makes Jesus sound like a credit card. "We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diners, and the King of the Jews." Now if you said "love Jesus" that would be better. And the Bible says whoever does what is right loves Jesus. Which I think clears up your problem.

But as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them who believe on His name.

Receive:

2983 lambano lam-ban'-o

a prolonged form of a primary verb, which is use only as an alternate in certain tenses; to take (in very many applications, literally and figuratively (properly objective or active, to get hold of; whereas 1209 is rather subjective or passive, to have offered to one; while 138 is more violent, to seize or remove)):--accept, + be amazed, assay, attain, bring, X when I call, catch, come on (X unto), + forget, have, hold, obtain, receive (X after), take (away, up)

There is a passage of scripture in the book of Romans that says those who are not under the law shall be judged apart from it. I take that to mean that we are only accountable for what we have been taught.

If Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, or other pagans have never heard the Gospel of Christ, they will not be held accountable for it. In those cases, God will examine how they lived their lives, and how closely they obeyed their consciences. Only God knows their every thought, word, and deed. Therefore only He is adequate to judge, and He will do so. That being the case, it is conceivable that there will be many who will be allowed into the kindgom of heaven who do not know Jesus as their Lord, simply because they hadn't been taught about Him, but followed the law that God imprinted on their hearts.

Now, if a Jew, Muslim, Buddhist, etc. is told the good news of Jesus Christ and rejects Him, that is another matter entirely.

We can debate all day about who will be saved and who will perish and it will not make one bit of difference to the reality of God. But I might as well have my two cents too.

The evil ... perish

The true believers in Christ.... Saved

Good People who are not true Christians .... Judgment

Every man, woman, and child that ever lived under the
sun of Gods green earth will be judged.

Dan 12:2
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the
earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to
shame [and] everlasting contempt.

Not only that, but there is the 1000 year reign of Christ
and His priests.

Rev 20:6
Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the
first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power,
but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall
reign with him a thousand years.

To "reign" is to teach. Those who have not had a chance will
be taught in the 1000 year reign, they will have they're
chance.

As you said:
God is Fair, God is Just

>>ok, if these are true, then isn't this unfair to Muslims, Jews and all other religions

I do not know about you, but we are talking this gospel to the very ends of the world. There will be no one who has not heard the truth. I keep thinking of Jim Elliot when a question like this comes up. He heard that these was a very remote group of natives who had not heard the gospel. Nothing could stop him from getting to them to preach the good news. If you know of anyone, anywhere in this world, who has not heard the good news, let me know ok?

There are 6 billion people in this world, and the church I am a part of is going to reach every one of them. We already reach 2 billion. We are on in Pakinstan. When God opens the door, we will go into Afganstan. We are on in China, when God opens the door, we will go into India.

I worry more about so called christians finding the truth that I do muslims. The Jews are not our problem, God will deal with them during the trib. One third of them will be saved, just like one third of the muslims, and hindus and even God will save one third of those who call themselves christians. Thanks, JohnR7

Zech. 13:8-9
And it shall come to pass in all the land,"
Says the Lord,
"That two-thirds in it shall be cut off and die,
But one-third shall be left in it:
[9] I will bring the one-third through the fire,
Will refine them as silver is refined,
And test them as gold is tested.
They will call on My name,
And I will answer them.
I will say, 'This is My people';
And each one will say, 'The Lord is my God.' "

One third will die by the sword, one third will die from disease(pestilence)One third will be purified and live.

So why did Jesus die? If those who've never heard the gospel will be judged apart from it why not just let everyone be judged apart from it?

Well, I believe the primary reason God created us is to love us. Jesus died to show His love for us, and made it possible for us to be reunited with God and have an eternal relationship with Him--not just after we die, but starting now. And the quality of life is infinitely better when God is an active part of it. Just my $.02 :)

The people I am talking about are ones who (a) have never heard Gods word, or (b) have the same amount of faith in their religions as Christians do in theirs. For example, if you were adopted by a Jewish family, you would
learn the Jewish faith, and you would believe it. But that was not your choice to be adopted by the Jewish family, so how is that fair?

I hear so many people say they are saved because they believe in Jesus. It is so much more. You must follow his teachings. If all that was necessary was that a perfect lamb was sacrificed to pay for our sins....Why did Jesus escape death in infancy? It was equally important that Jesus speak and teach. That is why I put the stipulation of being a true Christian.
