  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Psalms 1:1-6 Happy is the one who does not follow the path sinners tread. His delight is in the Law of the Lord, he is like a tree that yields its fruit in due season and he prospers in all that he does. The wicked are not like this and when judgement comes, they will fall. The Lord watches over the righteous, but the godless are doomed.

Psalms 2:1-8 The nations are in turmoil, the peoples hatch their futile plots. The leaders conspire together against Y’hovah and His appointed King. Let us throw off their yoke, we will be free of God’s rule, they say. But the Lord laughs, He derides them, then rebukes them in His wrath and anger. He says: My King will reign in Zion, on My holy mountain.

Psalms 2:9-11 This is the decree of Y’hovah: You are My Son, I am Your Father, I will give You the earth as Your domain. You will judge the nations and rule them with an iron scepter. Be mindful then you rulers and take warning; that you pay due homage to the King of the World, lest he become angry and you will be struck down, for His wrath can flare up in a moment.
Happy are all who take refuge in Him!

Psalms 7:6-9 Arise, Lord in Your anger, rouse Yourself in wrath against my enemies. My God, You decreed that justice be done. Awake now and let the peoples assemble, rule over the nations from on high. You pass sentence on the nations, uphold our cause according to our righteousness. God of justice, who searches the mind and heart of everyone, bring an end to the violence of the wicked and support the righteous.

Psalms 7:10-11 I rely on God to shield me, He saves the upright of heart. The Lord is a just judge, constant in His righteous anger.

Psalms 7:12-16The enemy prepares his weapons and makes ready. His deadly shafts are tipped with fire. They are those who are full of evil and lies, they conceive mischief, but they, themselves will fall into the pit they have dug. Their evil plans and violence will recoil upon their own heads.

Psalms 6:8-10 All my enemies will be ashamed and stricken with terror, they will be disgraced. Leave me alone, all you who do evil, for the Lord has heard my cry for mercy and He accepts my prayer. Ref: REB, NIV. Some verses abridged.

The main thing that we see in these verses is what happens to those who are good and those who are evil. The Lord provides for and watches over those who follow Him, but the wicked will fall at the time of judgement. We know for sure that these verses are talking about the Messiah and not just any king. Hebrew for anointed is Messiah, who will accomplish God’s purpose. God has appointed his Son who will rule and judge all the nations with a rod of iron. Peoples and nations are to worship the Lord with reverence. When the leaders of the nations conspire against Y’hovah to go against His chosen one, Y’hovah will rebuke them and the wicked rulers and all those who conspired to do evil, will be struck down by the wrath of the One who sits on the Throne and the Lamb. Rev 6:16-17 ‘The deadly shafts are tipped with fire’, the enemies explosive weapons will be destroyed by the coming judgement of fire caused by a CME sunstrike. Isaiah 30:26 This will come upon all the godless nations and entities; ‘while they are saying; ”All is peaceful and secure, then sudden destruction will come upon them”. 2 Thess. 5:3

Many of us feel as if we are in a place where we do not belong. We are strangers in a strange land. The world today has become a reflection of it’s prince. People follow their own lusts and desires without giving a moment's thought to who created them and how things are supposed to be. Justice is a rarity and pride abounds.
Very soon, God will punish the wicked, but those of us who long for the Day that we will live under the just rule of King Jesus will have nothing to fear. He has promised that if we seek diligently, we will find Him. He will answer our prayers. Malachi 3:16-18

Amos 3:1-8 Listen you Israelites to these words that the Lord addresses to you, all of the twelve tribes that He brought up from Egypt; You alone I have cared for among all the nations of the world, that is why I must punish you for your sins. Do two travel together without agreeing? Or if disaster comes, is it not the work of the Lord? Indeed the Lord does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants, the prophets.

Amos 3:9-11 Make this proclamation: Assemble on the hills of Samaria, look at the tumult seething amongst the people! Those who don’t know how to do right and who live by oppressing others. Therefore the Lord says: The Destroyer will surround your land, your strength will fail and your towns will be despoiled.

Amos 3:12-15 Listen to this testimony against the descendants of Jacob. As a shepherd may rescue fragments of a sheep from a lion, so will only a remnant of Israel be rescued. On the Day that I deal with Israel, for their sins, I will also destroy the pagan shrines and their ostentatious buildings.

Amos 4:12 Israel, this is what I shall do to you – so, Israel: Prepare to meet your God.

Amos 5:4-9 These are the Words of the Lord to the people of Israel: Seek the Lord, if you want to live, or He will sweep through Joseph’s descendants like a fire with no one to quench it. He who made the stars, has power over all things, He will make a destruction flash forth against the mighty that wipes out their military power.

Amos 5:10-15 You that despise the truth, you that extort tribute, though you have fine buildings and beautiful farms, you will not enjoy them. For I know of your crimes and monstrous sins – but at this time, keep silent, because now are evil times. You must hate evil and love good and it may be that the Lord will show favour to the survivors of Joseph. [Joseph- Ephraim and Manasseh, now among the Western nations]

Amos 5:16-17 Therefore the Lord says: In the towns and in all the world, there will be mourning and sorrow, for I will pass through your midst. [This refers to the Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath, the next prophesied, worldwide event. Amos 5:20 – The Day of the Lord is indeed a Day of deep darkness and terror.]

Amos 9:8b-15 Yet, I shall not totally destroy Israel’s posterity. I shall shake Israel among the nations, none will be lost, but the ungodly among My people will die. Those who say disaster cannot come to us, we are strong and safe. The fallen House of David will be restored as it was long ago. The time is coming when the Land will be prosperous, My people will live on their own Land, eating and drinking the abundant produce. They will never again leave the Land that I, the Lord, have given to them. [Look forward to the great promises of redemption and restoration.]

Daniel 11:31-35
31 And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. 32 Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. 33 And those of the people who understand shall instruct many; yet for many days they shall fall by sword and flame, by captivity and plundering. 34 Now when they fall, they shall be aided with a little help; but many shall join with them by intrigue. 35 And some of those of understanding shall fall, to refine them, purify them, and make them white, until the time of the end; because it is still for the appointed time.

Luke 21:12-19
12 But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name’s sake. 13 But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. 14 Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer; 15 for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist. 16 You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. 17 And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. 18 But not a hair of your head shall be lost. 19 By your patience possess your souls.

Revelation 6:9-11
9 When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then a white robe was given to each of them; and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren, who would be killed as they were, was completed.

Revelation 12:10-12
10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”

Revelation 12:17
17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Revelation 13:5-10
5 And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months. 6 Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. 7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. 8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 If anyone has an ear, let him hear. 10 He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Revelation 14:9-13
9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”
12 Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
13 Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’ ”
“Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.”

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. I have my own Bible.
This is a discussion forum of what the Bible means, not just a repeat of what it says. It seems you have put up the last 9 posts in an effort to flood this thread. Not a nice or a genuine discussion tactic.

Obviously you can't see the truth of God's plans to have a righteous people in the holy Land. Why is that? Isn't that what God wanted all along?

I think you're deceived about the timing of the peace in the Holy Land, Keras, and inasmuch as you keep telling yourself and others that God will protect us, that gives the impression that He won't allow His children to be killed for our faith. The Bible tells a different story. The blood of His saints is spattered all through Revelation.

To me, it's almost as dangerous as preaching pre-tribulation rapture, because there's an expectation that we won't suffer martyrdom... that God wouldn't allow it. This provides (I'm confident) a false sense of security. Jesus says when persecution arises because of the faith, some people will fall away.

Matthew 13:20-21
20 But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; 21 yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.

Matthew 24:10
10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.

Matthew 24 verse 13 says but he who endures to the end will be saved. Jesus' implication here is that many people won't endure in their faith, either because they are offended by what God is allowing them to experience or they are otherwise deceived by someone else. In Luke 18, Jesus expressed the same sentiments... that many will grow weary waiting for the Lord to avenge them, and "When the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?"

My concern is for the Church. I want them to be able to endure, even if He allows them to be slain. I think the professing church today is weak in terms of preparation for the Tribulation. Many people expect we won't even be there. Others, like you, think it's likely they will survive the Tribulation. If they and you (or anyone listening to your teaching) are wrong, it's a weak foundation to start from. I am not going to sit back and watch the great apostasy happen without pleading with my brothers and sisters to expand their view of God and commit themselves to enduring matter what, even if it means losing their head.

You can see it that way if you like. No doubt those who are killed for His sake will receive great blessings.
However, there was always a holy seed; the 7000 who refused to bow to baal and the prophecies are clear; living people, true believers will inhabit all of the holy Land. They will say: Blessed is He that comes in the Name of the Lord, when Jesus Returns.
Read some of the great chapters of God's promises to His people: Isaiah 35:1-10, Isaiah 66:18-21, Jeremiah 31:1-40, Ezekiel 34:11-31, Ezekiel 36:1-38, Hosea 14:4-7, Joel 2:21-29, Amos 8:13-15, Psalms 107:1-43

Thanks for understanding, Keras. I know my convictions are never going to be popular, but at least now you see my motivation for speaking out. I believe those who praise Him at His return are the 144,000 Jewish believers plus the Jewish people who turn to Jesus in faith before He returns. (When I say Jewish, I'm talking about genetic descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, not just Judah.)

That's where most of the confusion is. You should call the descendants of the Patriarchs: Israelites.
Jews are just from the tribe of Judah and Benjamin + some Levites.
As I have said, we know from NT teaching, that in God's eyes, everyone can now become His Israelite people.
Obviously the 144k are from all 12 tribes, the 12 divisions that all the Lord's people will be designated into. Ezekiel 45:1-8

I think you understood me, though, since I defined it.

I believe the 144,000 are both spiritual (Romans 4) and genetic Israelites. So... not including Gentile Christians. I know you think differently.

I did think you had it correctly, until I read your last sentence above.
Who are gentile Christians? Spiritual Israelites, that's who.
