God revealed to me that the devil was pranking me with this depression because the devil doesn't want me to become a deliverance minister.

Someone told me that I should leave the forums for awhile. I will take breaks, that much is good advice, but God told me not to leave the forums, and I will not back down. God also told me I am to seek fellowship from fellow Christians, even online, and I will not back down.

The devil attacked me today as well. Today is the day in Swedish pagan easter tradition where all children dress up as witches. It's kind of like Halloween, but worse, because it is a tradition dedicated to the devil. Satan is very happy about it and was mocking me earlier, but Christ let His light shine through me and that creep had to leave.

Is your depression one that runs in the family? There are several causes for depression:

Chemical causes - alcohol and drugs, or genetic brain chemistry imbalances
Emotional causes - wounds we got as children
Spiritual causes - Satanic attacks due to sin or due to ministry

If you are already in deliverance ministry then if it is a spiritual cause just resist them and they will no be able to withstand Jesus' name and the depression will go and stay gone.

Else you need to see a counselor and determine if there is an emotional or physiological cause.

Unfortunately 30 years ago I prayed for a lot of people to be healed of demonic oppression who just had emotional wounds or physiological brain chemistry challenges easily treated by doctors. I ignored these naively not recognizing them as God's provision for hurting people and many suffered needlessly due to my superspirituallizing one treatment (expelling demons) over others.

Easter bunnies are getting more popular. Not all are witches anymore. I do not understand how parents allow their children to go without an adult into someone elses house. What does a deliverance minister do? I might need such a person. I do not think I am possessed but maybe cursed. How do You know If You are cursed?

I am on medicine for depression, and still get depressed sometimes. The doctors somehow think this shouldn't be the case.

I am personally believing my depression lately is related to demons, though. Just try to trust me on this out of respect for me.

I am rather untechnical, what does pm mean and how do I do? I speak swedish as well if that helps. However I need to know that You do not come from the same area I live in if I am to talk. I want no open scandals or slander in church like lets pray for so and so and immediatedly all know.

This is not a trust issue.

It seems that you have already followed my advise in terms of analyzing the cause. I have many friends with depression and it takes months for psychiatrists to find the right medication due to the unique physiology of our brains.

If you are convinced or even slightly intuit that there is demonic involvement just tell them to go. You have this right in Christ as you surely know and have helped others become free.

All my friends with these struggles have also benefited from cognitive behavioral therapy augmenting their medication. Are you working on false core beliefs that might be exacerbating the depression?

In no way did I discourage you from praying against demonic atrongholds in my earlier post. It is not an either/or but both/and scenario.

I'm also on medication for depression. I strongly believe its demons attacking me. The attacks are persistent and frequent. I wish to pursue ministry and the devil hates that.

So stay strong in Christ my brother.
