[Shattered Glass]

You wake up one morning to a mostly normal day.

As you step in the shower, it's a little brisk. You think, "Ah, that needs to be warmer." Just as it crosses your mind, the frosty water goes from cold to a cozy warmth. Huh, that was weird.

You get in your car after everything else, and it won't turn over. This is probably the ninth time this has happened. "Come on, you piece of junk, START!!" you say, smacking the wheel.

The engine turns over.

In short, you wake up, and now you have the power to think changes into existence. You could think "Homeless guy, theres a house" and he's covered.

Well if you really had that power then of course (?) you'd make sure that everybody had their home sweet home. But the reality is that we don't have power in that way. Everybody though has some measure of power to change things. Most of us may feel that our measure is insignificant but we are still responsible for how we use it and will have to give account of how we used it.
You say -

You need to pray -
Forgive me Lord Jesus for my sins, my sinning and my selfishness. I believe that you were in my place on that cross and that by your death and shed blood I am made acceptable to holy God. Teach and enable me each day to use the power that you give me, for good and for your glory. Amen.

SG we need to trust and obey, conforming to His will not expecting Him to conform to ours. I recommend you spend some days chewing on Psalms 77 and 86.
May you indeed receive all the good and power there is for you in Christ Jesus.
