I just wanted to thank the Lord tonight. Not really for anything in particular, but for everything I am and everything I have. I have had just another wonderful day in the Lord today and we had two spirit-filled services at church. I also thank the Lord for letting me be an encouragement to people in need. I just had to say "THANK YOU, LORD"!!

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Each day is another awesome day that the Lord has made. It doesn't matter if its raining, snowing, sleeting or 105 in the shade kind of day, it is awesome to be here to enjoy it. God's grace rains down on us in more ways than we can fathom. Thank you, Lord!

Yes, there is always something to thank Him for each and every day. Sometimes I just get so overwhelmed because it seems God has been better to me than He has to anyone else. I could never do enough to repay Him for all He has done for me!!!
