Hello while i am new here I want to share something that many people may know but is just becoming real to me. I go to a smaller Christian college in Kansas and live in a suiet with 7 other girls. we have a meeting once a week and I usually don't like going to them. well last night was no diffrent. I didn't want to go but I did because we have to. WEll it was about love. I was in no mood to hear about Love...but I needed to. To start off my RA told us to think of a problem we struggle with. I thought of how much I desire to be loved. All the time I say "all I want is to be loved" well I got a wake up call last night. SHe read the story of Jesus' death and ressurection...and also fromt he Narnia book where Aslan is killed....I cried. For the first time in my life I relized that Jesus died for me! I was slapping himin the face when I wold say that I wanted someone to love me. He is passionitly presueing each of us and we need to accept that. No matter how hurt we have been we need to see he loves us and wants us to love him back. ONly when we love him can we accept love form others. Only when we are so in love with him and right with him will he send us the right one. WEll I'm done now. Blessings to you all-

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
