God is love

God is love, love is not what man proclaims as love and neither is God what man proclaims as God.
Jesus Christ shows us what's love, Jesus Christ shows us the true nature of God, in the words, life, and the way He layed down His life and rose again.
No man knows God, and no man knows love, unless they accept what is revealed through Christ, therein lays the love of God in it's perfection, man is not capable of this in his sin and selfishness, but Christ was in all He was and did.

What God is, His love is revealed in all that was Christ, in the Gospel of Him.
When we accept this love we accept the love of God, for we see it for the pure love it is, no man can receive it unless he accepts it, no man can accept it unless he sees he has it not, for we have to see our selves as corrupt in our own ways, these pure ways we had not, the love shown in Him was not what we lived by, for He shows us as sinners in His love.

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Joh 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Joh 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Joh 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

Mat 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? [there is] none good but one, [that is], God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
Mat 19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,
Mat 19:19 Honour thy father and [thy] mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 19:20 The young man saith unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?
Mat 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go [and] sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come [and] follow me.

Christ even said about Himself why call me good, there is none good but One.
We know Christ revealed to us the love of God in all He was, so if He who was pure praised not Himself as good how can we praise ourselves or anyman as good.
Not that we don't see the love of God in people, just that no man is good of his ways, God shows us what is good, His ways are pure, it's His goodness our hearts submit to.

This man did all that is seen as morally good today, people today would probably call him a good man same as they probably did then, but He said to him after he asked what he lacked, go sell thy worldly goods and give them to the poor and come and follow me.

If any man calls himself good, the same could be said to them, how come you don't give all your goods to the poor and follow the Lord with all your heart.
For if you was good you would see the pure goodness and love revealed in Christ, you would see your ways are not good, but would see what truly is good, for this would be the good you followed, for that is good.

Can any man say Christ was not good, can any man find a fault in Him, why don't people follow Christ, because they love their own ways, to follow Christ they would have to turn from their ways of old, losing nothing good, but receiving what's truly good, the love of God in our hearts, the love that fullfills us in walking in His ways not our own.
