  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Praise God!

I just made a trip to the local grocery store. I'd put it off as it's so difficult for me, but the store coupon of a $10 gift card for $100 spent was too good to pass up. Part of my issue is I had to gather up my coupons, to do the trip justice, and I'm out of printer ink... but I went with what I had.

They store had many specials on things I needed as well, so I spent more than the $100. (I do thank God that I don't have to penny pinch any more.) In fact, I spent $208 before coupons. :o

But praise the Lord, they gave me TWO $10 gift coupons for the store! At last bit I had picked up some very good teeth cleaning chews for Caleb...which were normally $8. This put me over the $200 mark and allowed me to get the second gift card. I had no idea they would double that coupon (there's no doubling coupons at all in Florida btw)

A nice "little" miracle for me---and Caleb's enjoying the fruits of my trip as well. As it turns out, I only spent $140 on the $208 worth of food :) because of the coupons.

Now, what doesn't spoil is still in the trunk until Friday when my PCA comes to help. :D

Be well. Trust God HE IS GOOD!
