I am a pastors kid so typically I was a little rebel my whole life. I always believed in God but never really took to him. I knew all the little bible stories and about commandments and hell but none of it ever really worried me much. Recently more and more I've been trying to churchify myself and be straight with God. I purchased a Master Study Bible on impulse a few months ago and wound up never touching it. Last night I decided I had enough and had to stop smoking weed and doing all the other terrible things I've been doing so I prayed. I've prayed before but never with the sincerity that I did last night. I surrendered myself to God and told him to take the wheel now because I was done trying to run. I as a prodigal son came home. After reading a random scripture I conked out on my bed...

Fast forward to about 2 hours ago...

I went to a service tonight with my friend Alyssa at her church called Calvary Chapel here in Old Bridge, New Jersey. I was liking the atmosphere and everything, a very nice environment. The praise team was doing a great job and the pastor stood up and spoke on the hurricane disaster and how we as a church are going to go down there and help - the whole nine. He then decides to get into the word and asks us to open to Isiah 59. Me not knowing the bible well at all I had to go look at the index and page by page go find it. It winds up in my untouched never been used bible the little maroon tassle in the middle was on the EXACT page the scripture was on. I was in absolute shock|awe in the same instant. I have decided to make his church my home.

The End! :D
