God Is Good Because...

He will never leave or forsake us. In our hard times, we can go to him. But at the same time he is already there.

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.​

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.​

This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,​

“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”​

The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”​

God is good because through His divine wisdom, he imparted on us the ability to make one of these!

Oh wow there are so many reasons that our God is good.

1. God sent his son Jesus to the cross in our place, so that we could be free and have been given eternal life.
2. He promised us that he will never leave us or give up on us.
3. I Praise God that his love is unconditional.
4. God is a forgiving God.
5. God supplies ALL our needs.
6. I thank God that I was raised in a Christian home even though I turned my back on God he took me back without any questions
7. My mum went home to be with Jesus a few months ago and even though I feel alone & feel like my world has fallen apart, I am believing God is with me and understands my pain at this time as my mum was my Best Friend I know one day I will see her again. That to me is a Blessing in itself. For people who dont have Jesus what hope do they have?
8. God has provided food on the table and a roof over my head.
9. Each Battle we face belongs to the lord, all we have to do is talk to him about it and have faith he will bring us through it.
10. Gods Mercies are new every morning.

God is good because, I know this sounds corny, but He puts a song in my heart.
