Use a little common sense. The KJV - forget the exact date - came into existence 1500s - that is close enough for now.

What about all the translations and copies in existence prior to that and all the translations in all the other languages in the world then, now and in the future.

I don't really care what language it is in heaven. Don't think anyone knows, and it will not matter anyway.

What need will we have for any book, when we will be with The Word.

If we speak in any language of this earth it just might be Hebrew.

I'd go with the old Genevan Bible! Anyway, if the King James Version is the only inspired version ("inspired" is a weak term in this day and age, so I'll go with the NIV's word, "God-breathed"), then it's questionable as to why it has a Latin word in it. Namely, the word "Lucifer." That word is a Latin word, which came from the Vulgate, St. Jerome's Latin version Bible. He also would have used the same Latin word for Christ (morning star), and so, I am positive that he did not infer that "Lucifer" was the pre-Fall of Satan. I dare you to ask your pastor of this. I did, but my parents were displeased with where I was going at with this. Of course, KJV Onlyists may say, as I have read from some, that to call Jesus, Lucifer, is to call Him Satan, even though that's not true at all. Context is your friend, if you put aside the preconceived thought.

Once in heaven ... the bible will be not needed for body of Christ

during the 1000 yr reign The word will be writen in their hearts ... no need for a bible

God will be walking and talking to us ... not using a book to communicate to us

I think basically the idea stems from the verse Mark 13:31...

Good Day Peace child

I am just at a loss for words.....

I will pray for you as well as your parents and that pastor.

It is just plain sad

I assume you can not talk to your Mom and Dad.

There is no bibical basis for his statement.

In Him,

Bill
