It all started Last Thursday when we (the youth worship team) were rehearsing for that Sunday. All of a sudden this man came walking in drunk as heck and was just tripping over everything. Well when we were about to go home, This man came to the car I was in so he can talk to the ppl in the car. He asked us for two dollars, so we gave it to him. After that he said to us " You know what my Father Jesus told me?? He said that I would be coming home. That I would be with him." After he had said that he was embarrassed to ask us for two dollars. He said that he had been kicked out from his mother's house and that he was homeless. He said that he sleeps in the back of the church that I go to. He said that he just sits in the back of the building and just thinks of his problems. I mean, after he told us that everybody that was in the car with me felt really bad about this man. I felt bad because instead of helping him, I kinda said to myself that he's gonna do harm because he's drunk. I rejected him. And it's mind boggling how the enemy can easily deceive our minds. So after we had talked to the man.. the youth group got together again and we decided to pray for him at 9:30pm that Thursday. While I was praying for him, I can feel the deep sorrow that this man had. So I started crying and I asked the Lord to give him nothing but joy in his heart. To take away his sorrow and his addiction to alcohol. The next day my friend told me that he was in the hospital till like 4am because his heart was racing the whole night. Doctors did tests on him and they said that he was fine. My friend thought that it was an attack from the devil. So he just started praying non-stop. Last Saturday the youth group got together at my friend's house to do a little bible study and to help him pray. We originally wanted to stay for an hour, but we ended up staying there for about 4 hours!!! It was four hours of just non-stop praying!! It was beautiful! We really felt that strong presence of the Lord that night!! Let me tell you that I did not want it to stop! The next morning, I woke up speaking in tongues! It was random but the Lord knows what he's doing. Last Sunday the youth group had to do two services. One in Boston and one in my church. That morning I can feel that the Lord had something planned for us that day but I didn't know what! So we went to go rehearse in Boston before the service. The rehearsal was amazing!! The last song that we sang in rehearsal which was "How Great is our god" by Chris Tomlin came out insane!! When that song started all I can feel was God's presence all over the room!! I couldn't resist not talking in tongues. Everybody was just so filled with the Holy Spirit that day!! So we did the service in Boston which was awesome! everybody was dancing around and shouting and just giving praise to the Lord! Now we had to go back to Lawrence which is where the church I attend is. Wen we started to perform, the whole church was on FIRE with the Holy Spirit!! and when I say on fire, I really mean on FIRE!! The presence of the Lord was so strong that by the time we got to the last song which was "How Great is our God," I couldn't even play the piano anymore! It was just a great day!! I praise the Lord and I thank the Lord for this past Sunday. I will never forget last Sunday or even this past weekend! Last weekend was the craziest weekend ever!! I know that was just a little taste of what God has in store for each and every one of us! Well I hope you guys liked this testimony..
