God Is Always There

Life is full of surprises
From beginning till we die.
Not knowing the problems, trials or tribulations
Why we laugh or sometimes cry.

Yet, there's one who can help us
If we humble ourselves and seek.
We can find peace and strength that's needed
Through storms that make us weak.

Just be still and quiet
For God, He has a plan.
Lean not on your own understanding
He'll guide you by His hand.

For each new day that comes
Persevere to see it through.
But more faith and trust is needed
Knowing that God is helping you.

Now let's be sure of this,
He's never far but near.
For every word our hearts cry out
He knows because He hears.
