God is a volcano

God is a volcano,
quick to blessing,
slow to wrath.

In love,
he provides fertile soil.
rich and nourishing,
for the flowers and plants to grow.

But...don't test his patience,
or you will bring his wrath.
Like a volcano,
his anger rose,
sending stream of hot lava,
down his slope,
destroying, consuming all.

That is God's wrath.
