So you're saying your going to continue to critique science even though you've indicated you don't understand it, but you are going to get defensive when people critique religion and you don't think they understand it?

And you will take the words of your lord and savior with a grain of salt when it comes to the Golden Rule?

I'm going to continue to hold science up to a higher Standard --- its Creator.

Spare me the guilt trip, Contracelsus. When you come on here and tell me that Scripture must bow to science, but science doesn't have to bow to Scripture, then you are the one with the Golden Rule problem, not I.

But you don't speak for the Creator, now do you? You speak for your version of the Authorized Version 1611. Right?

I've found its impossible to make some people feel guilt when they want to lord their religion over others.

It does speak volumes about how much YOU believe the words of your lord, though.

When you come on here and tell me that Scripture must bow to science, but science doesn't have to bow to Scripture, then you are the one with the Golden Rule problem, not I.

I'm not the one making any claims about science and the bible needing any coordination. I don't think the Bible has much of interest or value. That's your hangup.

You just seem to be ok with lobbing assaults at science AND simultaneously confessing your own ignorance of science.

That would put you at odds with your own bible. Tis all I'm saying.

I understand though, a lot of people have trouble with the Golden Rule. You wouldn't be the first. It's the hardest one to keep in mind but the only one of any real value.
