Psalm 34:4-8 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked to him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.
This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear him, and delivers them. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in him. [nkjv]
This question has been asked many, many times. Where is the place that we can go to escape from our enemies?
Many times we discover that there is no place to hide. At those times we find ourselves deeply sighing. We can only say," O God, HELP!" In a moment like these we turn to prayer. We pray unceasingly; we pray earnestly; we pray because our hearts are grieving.
In desperation, we remember prayer. We know that God hears and delivers us. It is out of the richness of grace that we are able to cry out to God. By God's grace, we know that we are being heard.
Sometimes it is not only the troubled heart that cries out in prayer. We find that because of grace we are moved to pray in tears for ourselves as well as for others.
Heavenly Father, because of your loving grace, we know you hear and will deliver us
