The Bible is an imperfect book written by several authors over a long period of time. It is bound to have contradictions.

I disagree:

Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

This chapter depicts creation from a different perspective, more localized and man-centered.

Genesis 1:31, 6:5-6

The original order of man's environment on Earth must be distinguished from what it became following the impact of man's fall, the Curse, and the eventual Deluge.

Jewish tradition lists Moses as the author of Genesis and of the next four books.

Genesis 2:17, 5:5

Okay I realize Im not registered as a Christian but I feel a need to respond to this....God doesnt contradict himself, the bible was written by men who God spoke to. The men contradict themselves not God. Men are not infalliable, God however is.
