Apparently Hebrews 4 is off topic when asserting that Sunday is not the new Sabbath, however Sunday may be promoted as such, I'm guessing. I don't know myself, and I am having a hard time understanding it myself.
Have you considered the covenants have changed? I have studied and fully believe Jeremiah 31:31-33.

It appears to me that this, and much of this thread, just doesn't square with (line up with) all Scripture.
Too many differences/ contradictions/ confusion.
You get used to that on GT.......

Act 19:32
Some therefore cried one thing, and some another, for the assembly was in confusion.
Most of them didn't know why they had come together

If you don't beleive that the sabbath rest has been changed with the new covenant then keep believing your interpretation of Moses' teaching and ignor what the new testament says.

Whether or not the mods close this thread as pre-requested or not I'm done with it. G'night ya'll

I have considered that. However the scriptures say that Sabbath is perpetual, even into the NC, at least that's what the prophets say, right? We also see it mentioned in that Hebrews scripture. However its not a certain day of the week though, although some folks, both Catholic and SDA might think otherwise. ARe you trying to trap me into a rules violation? You know the OP doesn't want to discuss that unmentionable day. I hope you are not doing that.

Do as you wish. it seems the thread was doomed from the beginning because ya'll just ignor and skirt around 2 Corinthians 3:13-15 that says ya\ll are blinded by the fact that times they are a'changin'

Seriously, I meant no derailing here. I honestly tried too discuss this topic according to scripture. I believe I know what you were trying to debate and I'm sorry it fell apart because of the Saturday vs Sunday thing. I apologize for this, but it wasn't my fault, or yours, its just the way it went. I'm sorry.

Actually, Jesus is the LORD of Sabbath, meaning even if we celebrate it on Saturday, or whichever day of the week, we've been promised eternal rest from all labor after life on this wretched and dark world.

My argument was, both Sunday and Saturday were still significant or important days to the Apostles as well as to the LORD meaning, saying Sunday as the New Sabbath is kinda sitting on one side of the fence since it isn't reflected (loudly) in Scripture. All I know, the LORD is the NEW Sabbath of the NC. Therefore, taking it personally, that Sunday isn't the new Sabbath isn't as BAD as not taking the LORD as the "Day" of Rest to Mankind :D :/

Actually, the Days of Sabbath are what I would call "traditions" of a denomination, meaning no one should be erred for considering such and such a day as a Day of Sabbath. So I can still go to a Synagogue on a Saturday and attend a Mass every other Sunday. Whatever is holier to a brother or a Sister let it remain under the LORD's precepts and decrees :/

Interesting since it is never argued this way.

When reading it in the context of the passage it seams pretty clear that Daniel is honoring God before the king. I do not see anything in the context of this passage proving that Daniel is speaking against Gods Holy Convocations.
