thank you
so much for responding daveleau. that is
exactly what he is doing. although he can't (and won't) tell us everything, it has something to do with the fire strikes in northern iraq, and because of his civilian training and work, he will be of great worth.
but he is of no greater worth to anyone else than he is to us. however he and all the other brave men and women fit into the design for God's plan, i hope the end result is some kind of peace.
before he left, he asked us not to read the counts of what goes on over there in the papers or listen to the news. (he jokingly said he didn't)
this is, of course, impossible. i wish it weren't. but it is very difficult to learn more about this particular situation over there. if anyone knows more, or knows of a place on the internet where we can keep up more, would you please share it, so we don't feel so helpless? we would be ever grateful.
still, if no one else reads this, it is the great comfort i hoped it would be hearing from at least one person.
God bless you, daveleau. God bless you.
