Hi there,
So there are four parts to this beginning: gravity (the amassing of the sun), magnetism (the molten core of the Earth), the weak force (sun's fission) and the strong force (compounding the Earth's surface, with meteors).
The point of the story, is to show that, before anything could be done, God had arranged for life to begin on Earth, shifting His focus to what was at the heart of the cocoon (and leaving the other forces behind).
This was a partial creation, on which a greater Creation could be developed - which is a rule for our relationship with God: we should always be expecting God to do more, while He increases His focus, on what is less. At least, while He continues to strive with man (as it says in the Bible that He will not do (not always)), this is the pattern that we come to know God by (and it is not to be despised).
In other words, God creates momentously, rhythmically, supercedently and finally, in secret.
It does not need more thought than that: a lesser beginning is a greater strength in the end, than needs to be in word (being any "word").
This is how God humbles us - that we learn to give place to His Word, whatever the world "may say".
