You can't argue that God doesn't exist by saying he made/created/allowed evil things to happen/be in this world. That is like saying to the architect of a house that he doesn't exist because the people who live inside broke the kitchen counter and burned down the porch.
To even say there is something good and something evil is to admit that there is a standard to measure such things. That standard cannot be a "feeling".
If one person feels like eating the flesh from newborn babies, I would say that most would agree that is wrong. If you base the standard of rightness or evilness on feeling then you would be forced to concede that the baby-eater is indeed within his right to do so because his feelings are valid enough for his morality.
If so, I would say that you who condone such acts are evil.
Thus, what we ought to do is distinct from what is actually done in reality. You the atheist cannot judge anything because you have no solid standard to judge from. You stand on a pedestal made of sand. When the tide of the world comes through, as time passes, you must step somewhere else. Where do you stand?
I stand on the rock of the Truth. God is real.
