In my experience most people don't research anything. They usually spend their time watching netflix or updating their social media accounts. When a new topic comes up, although they know nothing about it, they instantly form an opinion on the matter as if they have some sort of inner knowledge of the truth. It's emotional thinking. Most people don't know how to find truth on matters. It's like they have no common sense. They just follow what the popular opinions are to be safe.
