William Connelley, the man with the poor-man's time machine:
Wikibullies at work. The National Post exposes broad trust issues over Wikipedia climate information | Watts Up With That?
A time machine is supposed to be something to let its owner change history. Cheapest/simplest way to do that is to get yourself ensconced as a Wikipedia sysadmin and eliminate all mention of the medieval climate optimum from upwards of 6000 wiki articles (he who controls the past controls the future...).
When the science isn't on your side you try to attack the messengers.
Recent Russian elections have been much more straight up and believable than ours have. Do actually believe there could be such a thing as a voting precinct around Philly in which Romney and Ryan don't get a single vote??
I mean, basically, the evidence, including evidence from NOAA itself, has been in a bit too long and it is too thorough for anybody to believe that a reasonable person could still be promoting the idea of anthropogenic global warming.
One thing I've noticed about bullies and villains over a long period of time is that they all seem to excel at accusing others of the kinds of things that they themselves habitually perpetrate.
The most major greenhouse gas on this planet by far is water vapor. For some reason, democrats don't yet seem to have gotten psyched enough yet to try to outlaw, ban, or restrict water vapor.
That's right, it isn't.
Simple question. Does increasing the carbon dioxide in the atmosphere increase the amount of heat trapped on the Earth?

Any more than so tiny a drop in the bucket as to not be worth a rational person worrying about? The answer is no, it doesn't.

"Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit." Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow, You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Instead, you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that." James 4:13-15
Why muddy the waters with facts when you can just make conclusions based on vapor?
As I said:
You and I are here for a very short time. The earth is likewise here for a very short time. Let's be blunt. The whole question of global warming is a moral/religious question. Speakingly scientifically, I don't give a flip about this little blue dot called earth. I can't come up with any rational reason to care. I didn't know my great-great grandparents, and I'll probably never know my great-great grandchildren.
Even if everything you think about global warming is true, if you want to convince me that I should care about posterity, we need to move this thread to the Morality or Philosophy forum.
Again, I don't care about General Motors or Toyota Corp. or about this earth, unless you can give me a reason to care, which reason will necessarily be moral and/or religious.
