global frontier missions.... heard of it?

I've heard of them. I haven't done anything through them, but I'm awaiting on a diff opportunity overseas. If that doesn't work out I want to do training through GFM.

Grant, the guy who runs it, emailed me back in April.


As for hearing about it, I will be heading to Tlaxiaco, Oaxaca, Mexico on September 3 to do the Missionary Training School through GFM.

I just applied a a couple weeks ago and was accepted last week.

I work for a small mobilization organization that is trying to help people like you answer questions like you have. Could you help us help other future missionaries, if you can, by saying what you would really like to know about GFM? What info would really help you in getting involved long-term?

I've heard about them. Do you have to raise your own support when joining GFM?

Yep

I'm at 4% of my Sept 3 goal and about 1% of my overall goal lol.
I guess that's good for not starting yet.
7 weeks from today we have to be at the base

sorry took me so long to reply.. I am all ready here doing the summer staff program... i will also have the privelage to still live at the base in august till missionary training school starts.

Yep I've heard of it!! I'm even considering doing it in 2 years (I would do it next but I'm already going to another Discipleship programme through my churches organisation).
