  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I wear contacts most of the time, although I do wear my glasses from time to time as well. I've considered lasik but I think it's still a little too new and expensive to know what the long-term effects are. I'd like to see more research and results on it; when it comes to my eyes they're too important to take that kind of risk.

i don't mean to sound pushy, but this thread would be a good place to post your story you were talking about making that involves zombies. you know what i'm talking about? i would have posted the quotes but the forum has most of the search options disabled.

I don't wear glasses but my mom and dad used to. My brother uses contacts.

My parents both got Lasik's. I had to drive them home because they got it at the same time. They had to wear masks for a few hours afterward and put drops in their eyes for a few weeks afterward but other than that, they are both fine as far as side effects go.

My mom had slight astigmatism but they still could do it on her. Neither of them wear glasses anymore and see with perfect vision. As for price, they got a discount for paying cash and for doing it together as a couple. So instead of it being like $5500 each, it was like $4500 each.

i was actually looking for one of the pics you had up on your profile a while back that had you with curly hair.

you looked nice there.

Are you trying to say my current picture doesn't look nice? :p

I don't think I had the curly haired on in my albums.
