Glam Rock???

Hey all,
Me and a few friends have formed a rock band, and we're trying to think up a theme. I was wondering how glam rock would be recieved by the general audience. Like would we be pelted off the stage and then be thouroughly massacred or people would think it's so wierd it's kinda cool?

Glam Rock usually has an elaborate stage act, with a much more dynamic frontman.

I JUST saw Stryper the other day and MAN DID THEY ROCK MY SOCKS OFF!!!!!! They didn't dress up like glam, and the concert was more like reallll heavy metal. It was great!

I also like David Bowie and Queen! So that's glam rock? Is i short for Glamorous Rock? (hahaha!)

What's funny about glam-rock groups is even though they seem all bizarre on stage, some are actually really calm, intelligent people. Some people are just like that I guess.

that's what makes them so interesting tho! i think that's half the reason i like those groups....it really is all about stage presence and glamour. the music just kinda adds a background at a performance...unfortunately

...I once saw a sign in Seattle that said, "grunge is dead. get a job". If the sign had been referring to glam rock,... well, let's just say that it probably would have said (in big, shiny, red, neon, letters)....

"You're in a what band?! Ahaa! Ha! Ha! Ha! Haaaar! Hee! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Oh! Oh, geez! (Gasping for Breath Implied Here) Oh, geez! Ha Ha!, Oh man, laughing so,... Ha! ,.... hard,... Oh boy! You're serious?! Oh boy! Ahaa! Ha! Ha! Ha! -- Trailing off of the billboard..."

So all that is to say,... I'd like to buy five T-Shirts from the band right now.
